Objective: Create a poster to promote a non-existent exhibition of a toaster at the Gateway Science Museum.

Strategy: I chose a toaster for my translation because it showed the most depth because we could only use line, dots and closure. The illustration needed to be created in black and white first, for the purpose of getting the translation as best and interesting before adding color. We got the exhibit and location information later after finishing the design. We had to come up with a title that relates to the translation. Since I did a toaster, I aimed for “Warmth Touch” and to have a warm color scheme with a touch a blue to add emphasis to certain elements in the poster. I am very pleased at my translation and the layout.
